Piano Lessons with Ashley Teichrib

MONDAYS Sept – Dec – Time slots starting at 4pm

$22 per 1/2 hour private  lessons – 12 wk sessions prepaid monthly 

Session 1: Sept -Dec FULL, Session 2: Jan-Mar, Session 3: Apr-

We are super happy to welcome back the lovely Ashley Teichrib for private 12 week sessions in piano. She has been teaching piano to all ages in both practical and theory for nine years. She is much loved by the children she teaches and enjoys playing the piano regularly with her family and church group. She has completed her grade 10 theory and practical and has met the piano-performance and music theory qualifications needed to become a teacher of the internationally acclaimed Music for Young Children Program (MYC).

All registrants require $25 Individual or $50 Family GAAC Membership (65+ no charge) valid Sept 2019 – Aug 2020.
GAAC programs may be changed or cancelled based on enrolment.

Lessons with Hunter Teichrib

TUESDAYS Sept to Dec – Time slots starting at 6pm

$22 per 1/2 hour private lesson – 12 wk sessions prepaid monthly

We are happy to have  Hunter, the brother of our lovely Music Director/piano instructor Ashley, back instructing guitar lessons. Hunter has been playing the guitar for over 13 years and has completed his grade 8 in classical guitar with the Royal Conservatory of Music. He has been teaching guitar for the past 6 years to all ages. He is newly married and the second oldest of 10 siblings so he is great with kids. He is passionate with helping kids and adults begin, as well as develop, their love of music through the beauty and joy of classical guitar.

Drum Lessons with Evan Friesen

THURSDAYS Sept – Dec – Time slots starting at 5:30pm

$22 per 1/2 hour private  lessons – 12 wk sessions prepaid monthly

We are super excited to welcome our new drum instructor, Evan Friesen! Evan comes from a long career in music, with over 20 years playing drums in various bands and touring the country playing honky-tonk bars to beautiful theaters and everything in-between. He is excited to be joining our team and looking for
ward to teaching young people in the Interlake the art of drumming.

UKUELE JAMMIN with Carolina Nagy

SATURDAYS Oct 19 – Nov 23

$65 per session – 6 wk sessions

Saturday mornings, Oct 19th, 26th, Nov 2nd, 9th, 16th, 23rd

All levels of musicianship welcome. Learn to play simple chord progressions with basic strumming patterns using simple folk and pop songs. Share the experience with friends/family.

Carolina Nagy is a well-established violinist in Winnipeg, performing with various ensembles including the Chai Folk Ensemble and the Mennonite Community Orchestra. Amid an exciting performance career that has brought Carolina onstage with such renowned artists as Michael Buble as well as a recent national tour, Ms Nagy actively searches for ways to develop music programs in remote communities. Her philosophy is that music is a key ingredient in building balanced, peaceful, and loving communities. Drawing on 15 years of music education experience as well as an endless journey in professional development, Carolina offers lessons following logical sequences that bring positive results immediately for all ages.
